If, when trying to make a deposit, an error code appears on your screen, we explain what each one means and what you can do to resolve it quickly.
Error 77006 – Deposits temporarily unavailable
This message indicates that, for the moment, balance top-up functions are not enabled for your user.
Why it happens: This is usually related to a pending account verification (KYC), identity documents under review, or additional security validations required by the regulatory authority.
What to do: Check the status of your documentation in your profile (My Account > Profile > Verification) or contact us via live chat to confirm whether you need to upload a new document.
Error 300070 – Too many deposit attempts
This error appears when multiple top-up requests are made within a very short period of time.
Why it happens: The system temporarily blocks new automated operations as an anti-fraud security measure, or the payment provider itself applies a temporary restriction due to overload.
What to do: Wait 10 to 15 minutes without clicking anything before trying again. Also, check in your bank app that no duplicate debits have been generated.
Error 280002 – Transaction validation error
This message indicates that the system could not process or validate the authenticity of the transaction at the time of making the deposit.
Why it happens: It may be due to a temporary issue in banking network communication or a momentary technical failure in the payment gateway used.
What to do: Try making the deposit again after a few minutes or use another available payment method. If the error persists, contact us via chat to report the issue.
Error 10005 – Payment provider rejection
This message is a direct alert from your financial institution rejecting the outgoing payment.
Why it happens: It usually occurs due to insufficient funds, having exceeded your card/online banking daily purchase limits, preventive security blocks from your bank, or expired cards.
What to do: Contact your bank, digital wallet, or issuing institution to confirm whether there is any active block or limit on your account. If you confirm your card is in order and the issue continues, let us know.
Error 77021 / 00721 – Payment method used on another account
This security error appears when a card or bank account is used that is already linked to another profile.
Why it happens: For strict security reasons, anti–money laundering prevention, and responsible gaming policies, payment methods are exclusive and can only be associated with a single Betano account.
What to do: If you share a bank account or accidentally registered another account in the past, contact us immediately via chat so an agent can review your identity situation and guide you through the next steps.
