A Canadian Bet (also known as a Super Yankee) is a full coverage bet that includes all possible combinations of your selected picks.
It’s the successor to the Yankee Bet, which has 4 selections, while the Canadian includes 5 selections across different events, creating a total of 26 separate bets.
How it works
A Canadian Bet consists of:
10 Doubles
10 Trebles
5 Fourfolds
1 Fivefold
In total: 26 bets.
To generate a return, you must win at least 2 selections.
Although it’s commonly used in horse racing, it can also be applied to any sport or market (currently, Betano does not offer horse racing bets).
Note:
A Canadian is similar to a Lucky 31, as both include 5 selections.
The difference is that the Lucky 31 also includes single bets, while the Canadian does not.
Disadvantages of a Canadian Bet
It’s a complex type of bet with multiple calculations and combinations.
Not recommended for beginners, as it requires strategy and understanding of betting systems.
Since it includes 26 individual bets, it’s a more expensive option overall.
Why it’s popular
The Canadian Bet offers a high potential payout.
With just two winning selections, you can still see a return even if most of your picks lose.
This makes it a favorite among experienced bettors looking to spread risk and maximize potential profits, while maintaining a well-planned betting strategy.
