At Betano, your security comes first. Before we can process a withdrawal, we may ask for additional documents to ensure that funds are correctly sent to the account holder.
This depends on the deposit method you used or if we need to validate the source or destination of funds.
Security-related verification
We may request extra documents in situations like:
- A clear photo of the card used, if you deposited with a credit or debit card
- A bank statement, if funds can’t be returned to the original card or if you're withdrawing via bank transfer
This extra step helps us maintain high security standards and protect your account.
Card verification (if you deposited by card)
If you used a card that:
- Is no longer available
- Belongs to someone else
You’ll be required to provide:
- A photo of the front of the card used (see how to verify a card)
- A photo of the cardholder’s ID
Some cards allow deposits but not withdrawals due to BIN code restrictions. In such cases, we’ll ask for a bank statement to process the withdrawal via transfer.
Important: If your withdrawal is via bank transfer, you don’t need to verify the card linked to that account.
How to verify your bank account for withdrawals
To withdraw via bank transfer, you’ll need to upload one of the following documents:
- Bank account statement
- Bank extract or summary
- Screenshot from your bank’s app or website
The document must clearly show:
- Account number
- Bank name or logo
- Account holder’s name (must match your Betano account)
How to upload your documents
- Log in to your Betano account
- Go to Account > Profile > Identity Documents
Click on “Upload Document” and submit the required files
