At Betano, we apply a payment method correlation policy to ensure the security of all transactions, protect user funds, and mitigate fraud risks.
What does this policy mean?
Whenever systems allow it, funds must be withdrawn using the same channel or account used for the initial deposit. This helps us:
Guarantee: Ensure that funds are sent exclusively to the account holder registered on the platform.
Protection: Prevent unauthorized use of balances or accounts.
Compliance: Meet local regulations regarding security and anti–money laundering prevention.
How is it applied?
For your convenience, if you use e-wallets, the flow is now direct:
- If you deposited via Mercado Pago: Good news! You can now request withdrawals directly to your Mercado Pago account.
- If you deposited via other methods: Your withdrawal will be processed exclusively via bank transfer (CBU/CVU/Alias).
Important: Regardless of the method used, withdrawals are only processed if the CUIT/CUIL of the destination account holder exactly matches the one registered in your Betano account. Third-party accounts are not accepted.
Withdrawal Progress Tracker
When you request a withdrawal under this policy, you can track it in real time via My Account > History > Transactions:
Withdrawal in Progress / Reviewing Your Withdrawal: During this stage, our system and security team automatically verify that the destination method matches your deposit history and tax information. If everything is correct, the request will proceed to the final stage.
Action Required: If the system detects that you are attempting to withdraw to an account that cannot be linked to your deposit method or identity, the process will pause at this stage so you can upload your proof of ownership.
